The Society of Collision Repair Specialists Missouri/Kansas Chapter (SCRS MO-KAN) would like to recognize those students who demonstrate the ability to provide future leadership in the collision industry. SCRS MO-KAN will again honor Jerry Frese and his family by continuing to give an annual award in his memory.
Jerry was an autobody craftsman and collision store owner who believed in the advancement of the industry through the sharing of information both in the shops and in the classroom. He was a founding member of SCRS and promoted events to insure a greater understanding of management and repair techniques. Jerry saw education as a means to fill shops with technicians, estimators and management personnel who could provide services to lift not only the industry, but themselves to a higher level. This award is meant to reflect Jerry's vision and the Chapter's desire to promote the advancement of the collision industry.
